Referring to the heir-apparent to the French throne, Dauphin 007 draws on elements and narratives surrounding French monarchy. The Dauphin is portrayed as a would-be king lion continually harassed by an eagle. Dauphin 007 conflates disparate references, such as Gothic architecture and medical devices, to create a humorous narrative about power.
